Luminescience - Ocean Country Library Plaza

The Ocean Country Library has black and white, linear, striped paving following the desire lines and the paving steps overlap where these meet. The lanterns seem to be placed as obstacles for people to walk around and light up the way into the library. These later would definitely be most effective at night whereas the paving is very effective during the day. It is a passing space, designed in a geometric style.

SLA - The City Dune

The City Dune has its main planting features imbedded into the landscape. The space has multiple levels to create lots of individual spaces for lots of people to use. The white concrete surfaces not only reflect the sun on hot days but alongside the use of geometric shapes it creates a modern feel. This is a place for lots of people to sit and socialise, skate or just to pass through. It has designed to be efficient with its use of materials to cool down the space, provide shelter with its trees and add a green space

into an urban area.

Ramble Group - Tanner Springs Park

Tanner Springs Park combines efficiency, history and utility. The space is designed to enable people to come and relax, explore and socialise. The large water feature has been designed to re-use the stormwater runoff water from the park block as the water is fed into a natural water feature with spring and natural cleansing system. The water is the main feature within this design and has been placed below ground walking level to encourage people to learn. Combining the history of the site into the design also adds another element of interest.Tanner Springs Park
