This is my second piece from my onion series, a watercolour. This is the first time in a long while that I have picked up a paint brush and used my watercolours and I forgot how much I enjoyed it. Although the painting isn't the best piece of watercolour I have ever done, it was a nice way to ease me back into this media.
Things I needs to work on: I feel as though the fine details are harder to capture with watercolour, so I definitely need to work on this to help capture the complexity of the object.
Things that went well: I think my colour mixing technique and ability to capture the areas of shadow is pretty ok.
