I have recently been interested in exploring different medias. Whilst scrolling on Pinterest I was inspired to re-create this teapot, I started with a watercolour bright pink base and worked my oil pastels in over the top, blending different shades with my fingers, and finally using coloured pencils to add extra details.
I think this technique worked surprisingly well and has definitely encouraged me to mix medias more often.
Next week and I going to use this same technique on an object at home and see how it turns out!
