One of the task for our Chaumont Sur Loire submission was to create an axonometric of our final design. This was my first draft of the drawing. There are definitely some points of improvement to make before I start my final submission.
The general orientation of the drawing is off in places. Axonometric should have a 45 degree angle and should be projected and the true heights of the elements can be added, creating an atmospheric drawing which transports viewers to the garden.
The kraken mound is unclear in this drawing. As on of the key elements of the garden which supports our narrative the execution of this must be perfect. The circular tunnel entrance are skewed and the mound shape is lost in parts.
The planting does not correspond with the proposed planting plan for the design. The planting scheme is vital to the design, supporting the narrative and providing character throughout the space. Linking these together would make the drawing much more valuable.
If these points are executed well the final drawing should represent the garden successfully, being a useful drawing to help understand our final design.
