Above is my final, fully render axonometric of the Odyssée for the Chaumont Sur Loire competition submission. I imported the scanned document into Photoshop where I rendered my sketch principally using the brush tool and paint bucket tool. I lowered the opacity to make the drawing clear and to complement each element of the drawing. I tried to straightened the people and some elements of the planting to acknowledge the 45 degree angle of the piece.
Ultimately I am content with the end result of the piece. I believe it dictates the planting which is the key feature of the garden and there is a atmosphere which can be felt through the collection people using the space in a variety of ways. The only element of Odyssée which I would alter is the mounded Kraken tentacle, from my drawing it comes across as a 2D feature which isnt its true form. I did struggle in the initial drawing stages present the Kraken, hopefully the rendering style has helped to make it more clear, even if it is just slightly.
